- Longer appointments so that there is plenty of time for health education (including nutrition and exercise counseling) and questions and discussions about your child’s care.
- Pump and continuous glucose monitoring system initiation and ongoing training offered in the office for patients with type one diabetes.
- Clinic visits will take place in Dr. King’s San Dimas office; she also offers telehealth appointments, as well as home visits.
- Most appointments will occur during normal business hours, but Dr. King also accommodates for evening or weekend appointments, as needed, on a case-by-case basis.
- Dr. King provides direct coordination and supporting documentation with your child’s school for their medical needs.
- Dr. King coordinates your child’s medical care with other necessary physicians and specialists and monitors laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as indicated.
- Smaller practice size allows Dr. King to care for your child up until age 25, allowing for uninterrupted medical care through early adulthood.
