As a clinical faculty member at UC Riverside School of Medicine, Dr. King teaches the second-year medical students during their Endocrine Block by lecturing on basic science and clinical correlation topics and by writing exam and self-assessment questions. In addition, Dr. King has served as a guest lecturer, panelist, and Grand Rounds presenter at many medical centers and hospitals across the Southern California region, educating physicians and other medical professionals on specific topics in pediatric diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism. Finally, Dr. King has made research and clinical case presentations at conferences across the country, including national meetings of the Pediatric Endocrine Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the Endocrine Society.

Dr. King and her husband Justin are active in the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of Breakthrough T1D, and Dr. King is the Team Captain for her son Griffin’s annual Breakthrough T1D Walk team. Dr. King also enjoys attending diabetes camp as a session Medical Director each summer with her family at Camp Conrad Chinnock in the San Bernardino Mountains.
